I’m Mark Mannino.
My full time job is “Daddy”. I work for Zoe, my almost 3 year old daughter. I’m a fixer. I fix things. If anything breaks, “Daddy’ll fix it”. If anything runs out of batteries, “Daddy’ll fix it”. If she falls or gets sad, “Daddy’ll fix it”. Oh, I also fix things often for my beautiful, smart and utterly wonderful wife Tisha (without whom I would be a complete and total mess)
When I am not fixing things for Zoe, I run Business Development for MediaMath. This is primarily managing our Supply and Data partnerships. There is so much going on in this space that it’s impossible to even tread water, never mind get ahead. But we try.
I started this blog because in talking to all of our current and potential partners, I started to realize that everything we were talking about and doing was focused on making Display Advertising act and perform more like Search. In my role, I have a pretty unique perspective of what’s going on. I get to talk to almost anyone. So I figured let me share what I could.
This blog is my perspective and opinion. It’s not necessarily MediaMath’s. Additionally, I’m often wrong, so feel free to push back.
Other than fixing things for Zoe and running BD at MediaMath, I spend entirely too much time focused on sports, particularly baseball. I find baseball statistics and historical minutiae to be incredibly interesting. Why I find the rise and fall of the Federal League in 1914-15 interesting, I don’t really know, but I do.
